17-4PH stainless steel properties are wide-ranging. First of all, the material is easy to machine and form. Additional stainless steel 17-4PH properties include:

It contains iron, chromium, copper and nickel. 17-4PH stainless steel castings have excellent corrosion resistance because of the high levels of chromium, copper and nickel.
